The Spicy Shrimp is the perfect place to get a filling and delicious meal without breaking the bank. The rice rolls are a must. They come out steaming hot and fresh, and are what the place is primarily known for. They’re only available in the early afternoon. The cauliflower and Chinese sausage came with a ton of food and was yummy. The congee was a little less on the rice and more liquid, which is not a bad thing, but just a matter of preference. This is probably not a place you’ll expect good service from. The wait time was quite long, but I wasn’t in a rush so it was fine. You’ll find this place often packed during the weekdays. I would say the best time to show up is for an early dinner. And yes, everything comes out in paper plates.
