There’s this awesome little spot in Excelsior that you should definitely check out. There’s a bunch of Filipino options, but also Chinese. It’s certainly a local, hole in the wall restaurant. You can get full meals without spending much! Most of the meals on the menu are priced between $5-7, only recently going up. Keep in mind that they only do takeout and they only accept cash!

I opted for a super popular Filipino meal, Tapsilog. I also decided to try their pork chop, which seemed to be the go-to option for many people. All the meals come with a fried egg, tomatoes, and garlic fried rice, which will certainly fill you. The pork chop was covered in a crazy amount of deep-fried goodness. The jumbo fried chicken was my favorite. So much food and so tasty. Definitely give this place a shot if you’re around the area.
