😋 Review

I want to give a shout-out to two amazing bánh mì places that I’ve been frequenting regularly for their delicious and affordable sandwiches. Both of these shops offer sandwiches for only $5! They are located in the Tenderloin area, where you can find many other hidden Asian food gems. The best part is that these two places are right across the street from each other, so you can easily try sandwiches from both if you’re feeling hungry!

While I don’t have a particular favorite between the two, I did notice some differences. Saigon Sandwich seems to pack more ingredients, making the sandwiches look bigger. On the other hand, I found the pork at L&G Vietnamese Sandwich to be more enjoyable, with a tasty marinade. Of course, the experience will probably vary each time, but this has been my general impression. Nevertheless, I still think both places offer very filling and delicious sandwiches.

What sets these places apart is their warm and friendly staff, adding to the overall experience of dining there. These mom and pop restaurants truly represent the epitome of authentic and welcoming eateries, and I highly recommend giving them a visit!
