😋 Review

H.L. Peninsula is probably the largest restaurant I’ve been to in SF. It’s located right off 101 and is in this massive building with tons of parking available. When I went, this place was absolutely packed. The seating arrangement was banquet style. The entire room felt grand. You could see the fish tanks, the hanging barbecue meats, the chaos of tons of employees running around. I came here for dinner once and the food was delicious, and came again for the dim sum.

We chose to eat a rather odd selection than normal for dim sum, but we were not disappointed. The crab congee was unique variety of congee that came out with the best quality. The other soups were also well prepared and came with interesting flavors. They made a great Herbal Chicken Feet soup, a classic many Chinese people grew up on. The more standard items such as steamed sponge cake and shrimp rice noodle roll had such great presentation and were also yummy. You’ll find so many options to choose from. Everything from the venue to food to service is as authentic as you can get!
