😋 Review

It seems rare to find Taiwanese food in or near the city. From what I’ve seen, most of the places are a little farther out in the bay. I needed to try out Taiwan Restaurant on Clement. The inside is super homey, traditional set up and high ceilings! All the dishes were for fair prices: ~$10-15. Of course you have to try the beef noodle soup. The portion was so big and the beef was so tender. I was very hungry coming in and I was still able to pack some home. The pork chop over rice was also in a large bowl. Although it was mostly rice, there was still plenty of crispy pork on the top. The noodles came out smoking hot and everything tasted fresh.

They have so many other authentic food options. Might look uninviting from the outside, but it’s a must try place if you’re craving some homey and delicious Taiwanese food. I will definitely be coming back.
