😋 Review

I’ve always loved Chinese take-out-style fried chicken wings. While San Tung wings are not the same style, I had to go try one of the most popular restaurants in SF. I heard they had the best wings in town!

There’s a long wait, especially on weekend, so I would try to coming closer to closing time. You have to get the original dry fried chicken, their signature dish. Filled with flavor. I thought the black bean noodles were a great side dish to the main wings dishes. It’s a hard to get dish right, but the black bean flavor was just perfect.

The fried chicken was undoubtedly really good. However, I can see how someone would not enjoy it as much since it really is covered in a lot of sauce and the stickiness can get quite overwhelming. However, I loved the taste, the crisp was great and you get a lot of wings at fairly affordable price. 12 pieces for $16.50. The hot braised chicken was not as spicy as advertised. They’re not as good as the original dry fried chicken, so I would probably try something else if I came back. The sweet and sour beef had really interesting flavor. I would order as a “try something new” type of dish.
